Two recording modes for superior sound quality at all times
The CHERRY XTRFY Ngale R is equipped with a cardioid polar pattern, which picks up sound from the front, while noises from the back or sides are attenuated or suppressed. This makes the USB desktop microphone ideal for voice recordings of a single person. The Ngale R puts sound quality first. With a large, high-quality cardioid capsule, this microphone is a great choice for gamers and creators who value crisp, clear solo recordings more than a choice of multiple polar patterns.
In addition, the Ngale R offers two different recording modes: The low-cut filter is a particularly good choice for gaming or streaming sessions, as it filters out potential rumbling noises that may arise from intense gaming or vigorous keyboard typing. The low-cut filter removes the lowest frequencies for gaming-optimized clarity. By contrast, full-range mode is ideal for voiceovers, podcasts and other recordings, as it allows you to capture rich voice recordings across the full frequency range.
Quick to set up, easy to use
To connect the desktop microphone to the PC, simply place the braided USB-C to USB-A cable in the USB port of your device — and that's all there is to it. The Ngale R can be easily connected via plug and play. The controls on the device then provide quick access to settings such as touch mute, microphone gain and headset volume. If the gaming desktop microphone is muted, it lights up red. When you want to continue recording, simply tap the microphone again to unmute it. You can also switch between the two recording modes and choose between different LED colors and RGB effects at the touch of a button. This allows you to customize your streaming setup to suit your mood and taste.
For more freedom of movement:
The microphone is perfectly stable on your desk thanks to its metal stand, but it can get in the way if you want to record a Let's Play, for example, and need space for gaming. For situations like this, you can detach the Ngale R desktop microphone from its stand and instead combine it with our CHERRY XTRFY Ngale Boom Arm. The sturdy aluminum arm has flexible hinges that can be adjusted manually, as well as integrated cable management for a more organized setup. It is also equipped with a 3/8-inch thread and comes with a 5/8-inch adapter. As a result, the Ngale Boom Arm is not only perfect for the CHERRY XTRFY Ngale microphones, but is also compatible with most other professional studio microphones.
